Shop, scan and earn!

This one is another great app for your phone, especially if you shop often.  It's another points based system; the more shopping trips you scan, the more you earn.  It's called NCP Mobile.

I will admit that this one can be a little time consuming and that I don't scan every shopping trip (shhh, don't tell)  I scan all small shopping trips, 1-10 items and depending on how much time I have I occasionally do my once-a-week large shopping trip.

The time you invest in this one depends on the stores you shop and your coupon usage.  When scanning for some stores, you have to enter the price for each item.  Other stores (mostly grocery stores) do not require you to do this.  If you use a lot of coupons like I do (I rarely have a shopping trip that I don't have a coupon for) it will take longer because you have to enter your coupons for each item if applicable or for the purchase.  All you do is select the store and scan the barcode for each item you purchased.  If you purchase something without a barcode, you simply click on the no barcode symbol and select what the item is and enter the price.  Very simple to do.

I highly recommend this for small trips but feel free to scan all your trips.  The more you scan, the more points you receive.  They also have "challenges" and surveys to complete for sweepstakes entries and extra points.

The rewards they offer are limited but if you shop at any of these stores, they'll be beneficial: Amazon.com, iTunes, and Overstock.com.  I personally do a lot of shopping at Amazon so my goal is to get 21,000 points for a $25. (41,000 for $50) I have been doing this particular app since August 2015 and have approximately 10,000 points so you can see it's not a quick reward.  But it's still a reward in FREE stuff so that is good enough for me ;)
That's all for now! Hope you enjoy the content I share.  If there is anything you have heard of or would like me to test out, let me know!

*****Coming in the future******
I recently signed up for Sephora Play, it's similar to some other monthly cosmetic delivery companies I have seen on the web.  I pay $10 monthly (plus tax) for 6 different
"deluxe" samples (not just a single use sample) and they are delivered to my door.  I should receive my first delivery the end of February and will offer a review!
